WHAC believes that every athlete should have the chance to be their best and to achieve their own personal goals throughout the season, and we are fortunate that we have a number of dedicated and qualified coaches who give freely of their time to train and develop our athletes. All the athletes who make use of this coaching are appreciative of the time and effort put in by the coaches and find it most beneficial.
We encourage all our athletes to take advantage of this coaching so they continue to achieve their personal bests during each Saturday running day. It is a great way to learn and develop new skills, not necessarily with a view to winning but instead to continue your own individual improvement.
For those competing at other carnivals, including Zone, Region and State, the coaching sessions provide an invaluable opportunity to practice and refine your technique so that you can compete at your peak at these carnivals.
Coaching is generally offered as per the schedule below, but please check Facebook for any last-minute updates and cancellations. The coaching we offer is free for WHAC athletes, and covers all event disciplines. All coaching is done at Gooden Reserve.
